Karma Kat and Dogma Webcomic

Welcome to the first Karma Kat and Dogma webcomic!

Let me introduce you to our two main characters. Karma Kat seems lazy, but don’t let that fool you. He can get quite animated when he’s incensed. He’s ideological and skeptical, but ultimately a sweetheart. Dogma, like most canines, sees the world in black and white (both literally, and philosophically). He’s good natured and accepting, sometimes too trusting, but like all domestic animals, also manipulative. Don’t let his happy-go-lucky attitude fool you, he’s fiercely loyal and deeply protective to boot.

You’ll find other supporting players moving through the webcomic—other animals, their human and other companions—but the vast majority of the action is the two of them.

For the first comic, it made sense to reference the election cycle nonsense that we Americans just went through. What always strikes me is the blatant level of lies and manipulation of politicians on both sides. This panel takes a whimsical, anthropomorphic look at this. The majority of comics will not be blatantly political, but don’t be surprised when we toss in a bit of a social edge, while keeping them light and fun.
